“Education on Air” is in the air this Fall

Last Spring Google hosted its first ever Education On Air virtual conference with over 40 live video training sessions in one day. This Fall Google is bringing Education On Air back, but this time they are spreading out the sessions over several months.

During October, November, and December 2012, there will be over 100 Hangouts On Air being led by educators and Googlers from around the world covering a wide variety of Ed-Tech topics.

Each session will be a live Hangout On Air which means up to 9 other people can join the presenter in the video session, while an unlimited number of others can watch the streaming video live. Please note that even though the sessions are being broadcast using Google’s Hangout On Air technology, you do not have to have a Google+ account to view the live videos. Anyone is able to watch the sessions live. You only need a Google+ account if you wish to be one of the ten people in the Hangout or if you wish to leave comments.

A full listing of all the sessions being offered can be found on the Edu On Air website at https://sites.google.com/site/eduonair/  The site also has recordings of the sessions from back in the Spring.

I am excited to once again be part of this great educational opportunity, and will be hosting the following sessions (click links for more details on each session):
Feel free to join me for any of these sessions, and be sure to check out all the other valuable sessions being offered over the coming months.
